MONROVIA-In a major push to enhance Liberia’s education system, the Ministry of Education has launched a nationwide recruitment campaign targeting qualified, passionate, and experienced educators and administrative professionals. The new hires will serve in newly constructed modern schools located in Bong and Nimba Counties.
According to Deputy Minister Daniel Sando, the recruitment will cover both instructional and administrative roles. Positions include principals, vice principals for administration, instruction, and student affairs, as well as registrars. Teaching positions are open in key subject areas including Mathematics, English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, History, Geography, Civics, Agriculture, Computer Science, and Religious Education.
The Ministry has assured the public that the recruitment process will be transparent, competitive, and merit-based. Final selections will be vetted and approved by the Department of Instruction and Minister of Education, Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah.
Deputy Minister Sando emphasized that this initiative is part of the Ministry’s broader commitment to promoting quality education, innovative teaching methods, strong school leadership, and a student-centered learning environment.
“This is not just about filling vacancies,” Sando noted. “It is about shaping the future of education in Liberia—creating model institutions that can lead by example and produce students who are prepared for higher learning, innovation, and national service.”
Interested applicants are encouraged to follow official channels and adhere to application guidelines as the Ministry seeks to attract the best candidates for this transformative initiative.
