Gbarnga, Bong County -Former Liberia Agriculture Minister, Dr. Mogana Flomo, Jr., has called on Bong County electoral District ##3 Representative J. Marvin Cole to focus on his Legislative functions instead of Confusions in the country.
The former Minister of Agriculture further underscored that Representative Cole should focus on his legislative duties and avoid further confrontation with him (Dr. Flomo) in the County.
It can be recalled, Representative Cole in 2019 thanked President George Weah for dismissing Mogana Flomo as Minister of Agriculture and further said that Flomo was not qualified for the job.
Meanwhile, in a Radio Gbarnga interview on Saturday night, January 22, 2022, Representative Cole boastfully said, he celebrated the dismissal of Dr. Mogana Flomo, because the former Minister refused to employ people he (Cole) recommended for employment at the Agriculture Ministry.
But in a response on Monday, Mogana Flomo said he employed several people Representative Cole recommended for jobs at the ministry.
Additionally, Dr. Flomo said he and Cole fell apart when the representative decided to remotely control him as a Minister by always making demands for money and employment of most of his supporters.
Liberia’s former Agriculture Minister noted that Cole used his influence to rally other deputy and assistant ministers at the ministry to design lies about him (Flomo) to mislead the President for his dismissal.
The former Agriculture Minister said he has since moved on with his life since his dismissal from the Weah-led government and that it was unthinkable for Representative Marvin Cole to still be boasting of engineering his dismissal and speaking negatively about him in the public.
Meanwhile, Flomo wants religious and other leaders of the County to talk to Representative Cole to allow him to live as a private citizen and avoid speaking ills about him in the public.
