Monrovia-December 3, 2025: Abraham Fallah, Business Manager of a major real estate complex in Monrovia, has been incarcerated at the Monrovia Central Prison following a complaint filed by the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC). He faces charges of
The estate operates two sewer accounts with LWSC, both of which carry
However, Mr. Fallah illegally reconnected the property without settling the outstanding bills. In October, LWSC again disconnected the facility, and Mr. Fallah once more carried out an unauthorized reconnection.
On Monday, December 1, 2025, the LWSC Debt Recovery Team conducted a routine inspection and found the estate illegally connected for the third time. Mr. Fallah was apprehended by the LWSC Task Force, but he resisted arrest, prompting intervention from the Liberia National Police.
Both accounts, Abdullah Faraj and Abdulla Fara, are flagged in the LWSC system for irregular and delinquent payment histories. LWSC reiterates that illegal connections undermine service delivery, burden the system and constitute a criminal of offense under the Liberian law.
