MONROVIA-The Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Liberia, Cllr. N. Oswald Tweh, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, met with FBI Transnational Anti-Corruption Partnership (TAP) Advisor Ms. Kristen Schill to advance cooperation in combating corruption, and transnational crime.
The engagement focused on strengthening institutional collaboration, enhancing investigative capacity, promoting best practices, and improving information sharing, as well as coordinated approaches to address complex financial and cross-border offenses.
Cllr. Tweh reaffirmed Liberia’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and the rule of law, emphasizing the importance of international partnerships in safeguarding public trust.
Ms. Schill commended the Ministry’s leadership and reiterated the FBI TAP’s readiness to support national institutions through capacity building and strategic collaboration.
The meeting underscored a shared commitment to deepening international cooperation to combat corruption, and promote good governance in line with the FBI TAP’s mandate to address large-scale, cross-border corruption involving illicit financial flows.
