MONROVIA-A Liberian Youth Changemaker and promoter of quality education has indicated that education is the only means through which young people can have an independent life.
Serving as Keynote Speaker at the 3rd annual closing graduation ceremony of K-1, 6th and 9th grades, of the Ducor Ivy League International School, located in Shara, Duport Road Community Paynesville, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of YONER-Liberia, Jarius Andrew Greaves has urged Young kids in Liberia to consider education as a key in their life.
“The only means by which one can live an independent life, and become whoever he or she wants to be, and where he or she will not be judged nor given position due to their looks, or from a particular tribe or county is education” he indicated.
The YONER Liberia founder and CEO, further called on kids across the country to fear and love God, and depend on Him as the only source of everything that one wants in life.
Mr. Greaves disclosed that for young people to make an impact in their communities or in the life of someone, they don’t need to be rich or have everything, but in so many ways, including using skills, influence, connections or advice.
Speaking further the YONER boss pointed out that to be a leader, doesn’t require special school, or age, but it’s the person’s mindset to take a risk or a bold step.
He use the event to offer a year scholarship to the Dux, of the institution as well as to intern at YONER Liberia during her vacation.
Mr. Greaves also proposed a partnership with the school to scale up their Diamond Challenge for High School Entrepreneurs beginning next academic year, with an offer to mentor young women in the school and in the Du port road, Shara community.
