MONROVIA-The 107th Bi-annual Session of the Association Regular Soul Winning Baptist Churches in Liberia is expected to end Monday in Lawarta, Upper Bong County with the departure of delegates.
The Conference which was held under the theme, “Christ, Our Example”
Text taken from the book of 1 Peter 2:20-21, brought together hundreds of Delegates from more than 50 members and affiliating local Churches of Fundamental churches.
Delegates of the conference were drawn from Montserrado, Grand Bassa, Bong, Margibi, and Nimba Counties.
In his message to member Churches of the conference contained in the citation of the conference, the President of the Conference hoped that delegates of the conference could prepare for the conference and be examples of Christ so that God can use them.
Rev. John K. Kollie, II of the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Kakata, Margibi County reminded delegates of the conference to be aware that it is only them who can make the conference a successful one and come out as the best in Liberia.
He then prayed for their safe arrival at the venue of the conference held with the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Lawarta, Bong County.
Meanwhile, a report coming from the conference says the four visiting guests of the conference from the United States of America have expressed joy in working with the conference for more developmental initiatives within the conference.
The team made the joint statement when they were officially introduced to the conference by the conference President, Rev. Kollie, II shortly upon their arrival in Lawarta from the USA.
Those making the USA delegation include Rev.Edward Robyn Mrs. Nicole Robyn Rev.Nelson Bernald Dorsey,Jr. And Rev. Matthew K. Siakor, Sr.
Meanwhile, the report says the guests are expected to leave the country this week after successfully and fruitfully participating in this year’s conference.
More partnership between the conference and the US delegation is said to be high on the discussion table as they all try to implement the great commission of propagating the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
