“My Koloqua Talent” 2020 Launched

In an effort to discover hidden talents, ‘My Koloqua talent 2020’ has officially been launched in Monrovia.

“My Koloqua Talent” 2020 according to a  release is created for the sole purpose of discovering, developing and promoting those hidden talents within kids and the youths in Monrovia and all over Liberia.

My Koloqua talent is a platform that discovers and showcases 100% raw Liberian talents   through a live stage competition event.

This talent hunt will be part of a three part series spanning over a one month period. Finalists who Advance during the competition will be voted for by esteem judges in addition to public votes by using social media and digital payment applications such as Mobile Money.

A grand cash prize of LRD150, 000.00 will be awarded to top talent.

According to the organization, every child is born with special gift/talent(s). Koloqua, a media group believes the youth of Liberia talents fall in a broad range from musical talents, theatrical talents, gifted minds in Science, Technology, Arts and crafts among others.

The release further that Koloqua Media group looks forward to making this great event a yearly event which will transform the lives of young talents and turn their talents into careers.

This year’s first edition of “My Koloqua Talent” message is “Rape Na Good”. This year’s edition will provide resources for young girls and at risk youth on the prevention of Rape. 

The release further said the event will also provide education for young boys on how to protect girls from getting rape and how to avoid predator’s in their communities during the competition. It says each Talent/s will be representing a county in Liberia.

It says “The hunt is divided into three stages, after the audition talents will be selected by the judges to represent their countries.”

The release further added that auditions for this great event is set for the first week in November 2020. The live stage competition between counties talents will begin the second weekend of December 2020.

Also speaking at the press conference was Mr. Eugene David, CEO of Koloqua media group Inc.(KMG) and the head of production of My Koloqua Talent 2020 who called on all Liberians in and out of Liberia to support this event which will transform the lives of many young Liberians talents especially during these political periods in the country,

Mr. David also informed the general public, the government and businesses within and out of Liberia that KMG is open to partnership and sponsorship.
