MONROVIA-Youth Network for Positive Change (YOUNETPO) Executive Director, Amb. Leo E. Tiah has expressed thanks and appreciation to partners who have to help their institution over the years since it was established in 2014.
Speaking in an interview at his office in Congo Town, Amb. Tiah indicated that as a non for profit organization, Youth Network for Positive Change has made significant impacts in the lives of Liberians and they are hopeful of more impressions.
“Our health program has reached over 1,000 woman and adolescent girls in 30 communities” he noted.
He furthered that the institution has worked with 68 primary schools in Montserrado County and has introduced spelling bee to ten of those schools.
Speaking additionally, the YOUNETPO boss said as part of their climate change program, they were in three counties with messages of climate impact on the world.
He said they reached in four thousand (4,000) farmers, hunters, and other land users about how they should manage their land to be of use for future generations.
Speaking about the anniversary today, Amb. Tiah said they have communicated with their partners who have been working with them to have such an achievement over the period of eight years.
“We have been reaching out to our partners, the schools we have been working with, we were assessing the level of impacts we are making” he intoned.
He added that today’s event is expected to also observe the certification of workers of the youth organization who have worked over the years and have made impacts.
“The anniversary celebration will have our partners, our board chairpersons, and all those who have worked with us over the years. I have not been bread and butter over the years, but thanks to God that we are getting support from partners, through proposal writing and fun-raising” Amb. Tiah intoned.
