A US$500,000.00 worth of medical supplies is expected to arrive Liberia August 20, 2018.
The medical supply was made possible by the gateway medical alliance, a US based organization through the intervention of Fubbi Foundation for Development and Sustainability.
The initiative targets fifty medical centers across Montserrado county and would greatly contribute to the drug shortages at some medical facilities within the county thus responding to patients.
Speaking with this paper recently in Sinkor, The Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Fubbi Henries disclosed that three forty-four feet containers Load of medical supplies will be in country by August 20, 2018 as part of his commitment during the 2017 presidential and Legislative elections in Liberia.
According to him, fifty medical health centers are expected to benefits from this initiative in the coming weeks saying “we intend to do same and extend similar to Margibi, District #3 and District #9 Montserrado counties.
Henries thanks the Gateway Medical Alliance for supporting the initiative as well as the Cummings Africa Foundation who is a major partner.
