MONROVIA-A charitable organization, the Thomas’ Foundation Mobile Clinic Ambulance Services team has provided free medical treatment to residents of Nyovlen Town and the Cross River Estate Community in District number four, Montserrado County.
Speaking Saturday January 8,2022 during the launch of the Mobile Clinic Ambulance Service, the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation Atty. Michael Thomas Said the service is intended to assist the residents who are unable to meet their medical needs within the district, especially those communities that do not have medical facilities .
He said the Foundation will take its free Mobile Clinic Ambulance Service medical services to other parts of the district.
Mr. Thomas said the Mobile Clinic Ambulance Service medical services team comprises of trained medical professional.
He further disclosed that the Ambulance has all of those medical facilities as a clinic with drugs.
The Foundation CEO further disclosed the need for health care service is key to the wellbeing of the people of the district including other districts across Montserrado County.
He disclosed that those of the residents who will undergo through the medical examination by the medical team, there, a patient has complication,, the team cannot treat , the Foundation will transfer that patient to the hospital on the expense of the foundation.
According to him, the Foundation has been engaged in assisting students with Coronavirus preventive materials across the district to every High School.
He said the foundation is buttressing Government’s efforts in meeting the medical needs of the people of the district.
According to him, the Mobile Clinic Ambulance Service medical services is included within the County Ambulance services that can be called at any time of the day and night.
Also speaking during the launch of the Mobile Clinic Ambulance Service, the Town Chief of Nyovlen Town, William Whergar expressed gratitude to the Foundation for coming to their aid.
According to him, they have been faced with the lack of medical facility within the Town.
Chief Whergar said with the coming of the foundation to provide them medication, have brought relief to them.
He said most of the time, they as residents have to go through challenges to get any of their residents who will get ill because of the lack of health facility with in the Town.
For his part the Youth Chairman of the Cross River Estate Community Charles Ziatic used the event to appreciate the Thomas’ Foundation Mobile Clinic Ambulance Services team has provided free medical treatment to them.
