-Declares Pastor Toe
Acting Pastor of the Revival Christian Baptist Church (RCBC) Gabriel N. Toe has declared that the resurrection of Jesus Christ has become and remained a perpetual cancer plaguing Satan and his agents; a battle they find difficult and impossible to win over all faithful Christians for now and forever even after the second coming of Christ and his departure.
Pastor Toe told his members of his congregation that in spite of all the vicious scheming by Satan and his followers to portray falsehood about the resurrection of Jesus; his (Satan’s) returned dividend has never debased the spiritual supremacy of the legacy of the everlasting truth that no prophets on earth have ever ventured around moreover claiming to have done.
In his Easter Sunday’s sermon delivered at the church’s edifice located in Morris’ Farm behind the Coco-Cola Factory in Paynesville, Pastor Toe whose message was embedded in the Books of Matthew 28; John 19:28-29 and Psalm 22:15; the Preacher-man added that despite the attack from the Sadducees who professed not to accept rather denied and strongly condemned the resurrection miserably failed to discredit the holiness of the resurrection before those who have accepted the divine teaching of Jesus.
Asking members of the congregation about what is their role in Christ’s Kingdom, Pastor Toe reminded them of the role of the three women after the was crucified and buried that at the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher (tomb or grave). He said and, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it, adding, his countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: and for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
Pastor Toe noted that the angel answered and said unto the women, fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said; come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Extolling the courage, determination and concern shown about their Lord the angels told them to go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
According to him, and they departed quickly from the sepulcher with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
Preaching further, Pastor Toe pointed out that as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
Then drew the congregation’s attention to what he noted that after this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, “I thirst”.
Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth, Pastor Toe intoned.
Pastor Toe informed the congregation that thereafter, the task of Jesus was completed when he said “Father forgive them for they know not what they do; it is finished.
He challenged all Christians not to bury their chances rather use them to lift up and spread the gospel of Jesus because to debunk and rebuke the Lord’s teaching to appease Satan and his sadists will know that indeed there is a price, and they shall surely pay it because no sin goes unpunished especially wherein no confession and repentance.
