For showing continues likeness and clear heart to President George Weah by partisans across the country, the Chairlady of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) in Kinjor Town, Grand Cape Mount County has dedicated his restaurant to President Weah, by naming it ‘Weah Palace’.
According to Madam Elizabeth Fahnbulleh, her action to named her restaurant in honor of President Weah is to demonstrate her love and likeness for the President and commitment for the CDC.
Speaking during the dedication ceremony over the weekend, Madam Fahnbulleh lauded President Weah for standing tall with those she considered as ‘grass rooters’, adding she has explicit confidence that the CDC Government and President Weah will justify the confidence reposed in him by the majority of the people in Kinjor Town, Grand Cape Mount County.
Excitingly speaking, the CDC Kinjor Chairlady said because President Weah announced his government as ‘Pro-Poor’ government, she is ever ready to sell her food for the least amount that will be affordable by the people, “my food is sold for L$150 for bowl, but I will consider people that don’t have that amount, even L$100 will be accepted by me as a means of helping our President to achieve his pro-poor agenda, this is our government, we must promote it,” she said.
The owner and operator of the Weah’s Palace Restaurant called on all not to focus on the name of her restaurant but to retrospect on the love and likeness she had developed for President Weah and the CDC.
Speaking earlier during the cutting of ribbon, the Assistant Minister for Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET), at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Millias Sheriff thanked all CDCians for their tireless and relentless support for electing President Weah.
Min. Sherrif said the quests of the people for the CDC Government could not be downplayed, calling on everybody to promote the restaurant, since it was named in honor of the people’s President.
He said those that committed themselves to the struggle are truly dependable people that have shown their love for the President and party.
