By Reuben Sei Waylaun
Bong County electoral district four Representative Robert Womba has submitted a Bill for the creation of Jorwah Township within Panta District, Bong County.
Representative Robert Womba of Bong County
In his communication, Representative Womba said the creation of Jorwah Township is predicated upon the fast-growing population size of the community, coupled with the proliferation of development activities in that region.
According to him, the legislative instrument is also intended to foster local governance and decentralization of the county administrative authority.
The Bong County lawmaker said it is his anticipation that the Bill will be passed in order to strengthen local government in that part of the country.
The communication was read and sent to the committees on internal affairs, judiciary and ways, means and finance to report in two weeks.
