Rep. Saah Joseph Presents Over 120 MVTC Graduates To APM Terminals

Montserrado County Electoral District #13 Representative, Saah Hardy Joseph has presented over 120 graduates of the Monrovia Vocational Training Center (MVTC) to the Management of APM Terminals which is the partner to the National Port Authority (NPA).

Presenting the recent graduates to the APM Terminals, Rep. Joseph thanked the management of APM Terminal for its commitment to corporate social responsibility to the society which he believes is paramount to human resource development.
Rep. Joseph who is affectionately called; “Ebola Hero,” said, he was overwhelmed about the commitment of the APM Terminals to the people of the district as evidenced by the payment of tuitions of vocational students in his district.
Rep. Joseph noted that the payment of tuition of the over 120 students at the MVTC was a manifestation of the APM Terminals help to the growth of the Liberian economy. He wishes that other corporate institutions should follow suit.
Also speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Managing Director of the APM Terminals, George Adjei, said the APM Terminals has infused 120 Million United States Dollars in the Liberian economy and anticipates to do more for the development of human capacity.
Adjei said this is the same that the APM Terminals does in all of the countries that it has facilities. He said, the APM Terminals will continue to promote the issue of human social development in Liberia as part of its social corporate responsibilities.
The Managing Director than commended the students and promised that the company will work for development.
Also speaking at the program was the District Council Chairman of District #13, Pastor Arounia Zeah, who commended the management of APM Terminals and appealed to them to help absorb some of the students within the APM Terminals to work in various disciplines.
Also speaking at the occasion was the Head of the graduates, John Kamara, who congratulated the management of APM Terminals for educating them.
He said, he was overwhelmed about the management’s action and is proud to be identified with the APM Terminals.
Kamara then, on behalf of the graduates, presented a certificate of honor to the APM Terminals Management for their help to them.
