Rep. Gray frowns on non-performing Officials

Montserrado County District number eight Representative Acarous Gray has decried on the attitude of some government officials for not promoting the government’s developmental agenda.

He said there is an urgent need for government officials to promote the programs and developmental projects undertaken  by the government across the country.

Representative Gray said promulgating the government impactful projects will definitely allow the citizenry to get the rightful information regarding the government.

Speaking on a local media , CDC Lawmaker further  said that some government officials are not informing the public about their work, something he indicated that such action by those officials have the propensity to undermine the successes  of the government.

Rep. Gray said President George Weah has given those officials of government opportunity to work in the interest of the people.

He further called on president Weah to ensure that the information Ministry is financially stable enough to promote the government’s agenda.

The CDC lawmaker said the government has been relaxing with its public relations programs over the years.

He stressed that it was because of the poor public relations on the part of the government that is negatively affecting the government.

The  CDC lawmaker who said the government is interested in transforming the country at all sector, attributed  the lack of proper information dissemination  is responsible  to  the challenges  that  the government  is facing; which  the opposition   are now making use of it. 

He further said every one of the government official should do a public relation for the government. 

 Representative Gray further said as Chairman on Executive at the House of Representative, he is playing the role of public relation officer for the government.
