A prominent citizen of Grand Cape Mount County has officially complained Representative Emerson V. Kamara to his colleagues through House Speaker Bhofal Chambers for allegedly threatening his life.
Rep Emerson V. Kamara Hussein M. Seimavula
In his complaint letter dated September 4, 2018, Hussein M. Seimavula alleged that the Grand Cape Mount electoral district three lawmaker called him on his assigned Lonestar MTN number (0886488840) and threatened to fight and destroy he (Hussein Seimavula) politically, physically and any other means within his reach.
According to him, what is more troubling and scaring is the lawmaker alleged refusal to tell reasons for his threats.
“I was and I am terrified by these troubling comments from a man of his standing in society,” Seimavula asserts in his communication to House Speaker Bhofal Chambers.
“I have not posted against any lawmaker from my county or other county on facebook and I am surprised. I don’t do such thing. I am not against Representative Kamara and didn’t campaign against him because I am a member of a powerful youth group in Porkpa district,” he noted.
Meanwhile, Seimavula wants a full-scale investigation into the alleged threat, saying any delay may lead to terrible danger on his life.
“With your unwavering commitment to protecting citizens’ rights and lives, I await your affirmative and timely response as we can collectively contribute to the development of our country,” he appealed in his communication.
Seimavula is at the same time calling for justice to be served and wants the lawmaker to prove him wrong.
However, when contacted concerning the allegations levied against him, Representative Emerson V. Kamara rubbished the allegations and said he doesn’t have interest in such thing.
