Religious Advisor Rallies Liberians Ahead Of Independence Celebration

-Announces Independence Day Prayer Moment for Liberia

As Liberians prepare for the observance of the 171st Independence Day celebration, the Religious Advisor to President George Weah is rallying Liberians, particularly Christians throughout the length and breadth of the country to come together in one accord and seek God’s intervention through prayers.

Rev. M. Emmanuel Nimely made specific calls to all bishops, apostles, prophetess, pastors, evangelists, Christian leaders and the entire Christian Community, especially those residing in Monrovia and its environs to a one-day national prayer service.

Rev. Nimely says the one-day event is to usher in the 171st Independence Day Celebration on July 26, 2018. It will be held at the Monrovia Christian Fellowship on Wednesday, 18th July, 2018 at 12:00 pm under the theme “The New Dispensation of Grace.”

With the text taken from Isaiah 65:17, it is to acknowledge and reverence God in a very special way to shape Liberia’s destiny and cause God’s favor to increase upon the nation.

Referencing the book of Psalm 127:1, the Religious Advisor said: “Except the Lord watches over the city, the watchman watches in vain; and Psalm 66:1, Let God arise! Let his enemies be scattered! Let who hate him also flee before him.”

Rev. Nimely concluded by expressing confidence that God will create the atmosphere for His divine grace upon Liberia to achieve prosperity under the leadership of President Weah.
