Queen Esther Chapter N0. 1, Order of the Eastern Star has presented Independence Day gifts of assorted food and none food items to Orphanages at Jesus Christ Orphanage Home in White Plains, Montserrado County.
Making the donation on behalf of Queen Esther Chapter N0. 1, the Worthy Matron, Worthy Sister Victoria Worlobah Duncan, supported by able Worthy Patron, Worthy Brother Abraham Simmons, praised God for his continued blessings upon the children at the Orphanage, and continued protection.
She lauded members of the Chapter for their continuous support to all charitable events of the Chapter support, most especially when called upon on short notice.
Worthy Sister Duncan further stated that giving is an essential part of their goals and responsibilities of the Order of the Eastern Star and Queen Esther (De Chapter) will continue to live by those principals of advancing charitable works to all mankind.
Madam Duncan promised the little children that the donation is not the end, but a long-lasting friendship between Queen Esther & Jesus Christ Orphanage Home.
For his part, the Worthy Patron, Worthy Brother Abraham Simmons, congratulated Sisters and Brothers of Queen Esther Chapter N0. 1 for their steadfastness in responding to charitable events of the Chapter.
He lauded the Worthy Matron, Officers and members, especially the General Grand Chapter for its continued leadership roles in the advancement of the Order of the Eastern Star charitable benevolence
Worthy Sister Duncan, stated that Queen Esther Chapter N0. 1 and the General Grand Chapter remain very supportive of the undertakings of the programs of the Orphanage, especially in caring for them at all times.
He expressed the Chapter’s willingness to work with the administration and staff of the Jesus Christ Orphanage Home, to ensure kids at the Orphanage are properly cared for.
Receiving the gifts items of assorted food and none food items, the directress of the Jesus Christ Orphanage Home, Madam Marthw Kpowolopalo, praised Queen Esther Chapter N0. 1, for its continued support to the mission.
Madam Kpoowolopalo, said the Orphanage continued to be grateful to Queen Esther Chapter for always identifying with the mission during difficult movements by ensuring smiles are on the faces of the kids at the Orphanage, especially during major holidays.
She recounted the support of Queen Esther Chapter and its Brother-Oriental Lodge N0. 1 A.F. & A.M., when it jointly identified with the Orphanage on July 26, 2017, with the construction of a playground, awarding of scholarships to deserving kids at the Orphanage including an all-day games and fun.
“These gifts Queen Esther Chapter has brought here today is so important this Orphanage, especially in making the children smile again as Liberia celebrate this Independence Day. We hope and pray that other children across the country experience this love showed by Queen Esther Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.”
Madam Kpoowolopalo, praised Queen Esther Chapter N0. 1, for always identifying with the Jesus Christ Orphanage Home in needy areas of food supply, medical and educational materials to help the kids and prayed for God continued to blessings upon members of the Chapter to generously give to the support of Orphanage.
She encouraged children at the Orphanage to remain focus on their education and work harder to enable them contribute one day for others in similar condition.
Items donated today by Queen Esther Chapter N0. 1 include several bags of Rice, onion, boxes of oil, soft drinks and other food items. Additionally, the Chapter also donated bags of used cloths and none food items.
