‘Put Pressure On Him’

-Rep. George Tells Liberians

By Jackson C. Clay, Jr.

Montserrado County district seven Representative, Solomon George has told Liberians to mount pressure on President George so as to enable him properly account for the alleged missing container of over fifteen billion Liberian dollars banknotes.

“Fellow Liberians we need to put pressure on President Weah so that he can properly investigate this money business, let us all put pressure on him,” Rep. George said when he appeared on a local radio station.

Speaking when he appeared on the Prime Morning Drive (PMD) aired on Prime 105.5FM Wednesday, October 3, 2018, Representative George said if the government cannot bring to book the actual story behind the mysterious disappearance of the money saga, it would be a very bad image for the Weah led administration.

The Montserrado County district seven lawmaker indicated that President Weah is only acting the way he is acting because he does not want anyone to think that he (Weah) is trying to witch-hunt individuals in and out of government.

The Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Representative noted that President Weah should and must not allow sympathy to exceed the country’s interest, noting “Liberia is full of so many corrupt people.”

Representative George asserted that this current Liberian Government headed by former football icon turned politician, President George Manneh Weah has nothing to do with the entire money saga, but shifting blames on the immediate past government.

“We should not allow sympathy to exceed our interest but let me tell you something, this country has so many corrupt people. This current government has no part to play in this money saga,” Representative George said.

At the same time, Representative George has branded former President Sirleaf as ‘Jezebel’ of the Bible who according to him was only going around disgracing men but noted they as lawmakers of the CDC would not allow this Jezebel to disgrace the current government, thus, they are going to do all they can to prevent such from happening.

Meanwhile, Representative George has stated that President George Weah is person destined to change the story of Liberia and as such, no one can stand in the way of some of the many good things they are about to carry out in Liberia.
