PRES. WEAH CONGRATULATES QUEEN ELIZABETH, II

MONROVIA-President George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the occasion commemorating the 96th Birth Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, President George Manneh Weah, on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia, and in his own name, extended heartfelt Congratulations and sincere best wishes to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and through her, to the Government and People of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland as they commemorate this historic milestone.

President expressed confidence that as Liberia joins the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in observance of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, 96th Birth anniversary, the two countries will continue to enjoy the longstanding bilateral and cordial ties of friendship subsisting between both nations for more than a century.

The Liberian President also extended gratitude to the Government and People of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for its continued support to Liberia’s Pro-spoor Agenda for Prosperity and Development.

“It is our ardent prayer that the friendly ties subsisting between our two nations will grow from strength to strength for the benefit of our two Nations and Peoples” the Liberian leader stressed.

President Weah further hoped and prayed that the cooperation subsisting between the two nations will be further enhanced in the spheres of education, agriculture, and energy for the mutual benefit of both countries and peoples.

The Liberian President then wished for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s personal well-being and for the people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, peace and prosperity.
