Former minister Tweah returned to Liberia late Tuesday. He was among one of former government officials indicated for alleged corruption.
The Monrovia City Court issued an indictment against him and several former officials from ex-President George Weah’s administration, accusing them of involvement in a staggering $500 million corruption scheme. But he described the indictment as “politically motivated witch-hunt”
Following that, it was alleged that a communication was sent to International Police to arrest him. But he has decided to voluntarily return home.
