The Pegasus class of 1989/1999 has sealed partnership with the SDA High School by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the school Administration that provides the bedrock for the administration of PEA to certificate the first ever beneficiary of the “Pegasus Excellence Award” and its sub awards.
The Pegasus Class of 1998/1999 is a subset of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) High School Alumni Association and the administration of the schools.
The goal of the MOU is to increase benefit in the Pegasus Excellence Award and provides more sub awards and further inspired, motivate, and encourage students of the institution to double up their studies.
The recent signing ceremony also witnessed the certification of three outstanding students for their academic performance in the science courses.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, Pegasus President, W. Emmanuel Teai said “we are very elated as members of the Pegasus class, a subset of the SDA High School to be the first in the school’s history to launch such prestigious award that is aimed at giving the students reasons to perform better in their academic studies.”
He further said “it is an honor and privilege for members of this Pegasus class that has dogged deep into their pockets in funding these awards to be part of this history making event.”
Accordingly, he wants students find their winning formula and hold on to it saying “every time you succeed at anything, make sure to remember or write down the method, steps, and attitude that helped you succeed.”
“If you score ninety (90) on a particular test and remember all you did to help you get that grade, why don’t you just do the same thing to the other subjects, and see what the results will be.”
