MONROVIA-Chiefs and Elders from Buu -Yao Administrative District # 5 over the weekend gathered in Tiaplay Town where they pledged support to the re-election of President George Weah.
The Chiefs and Elders informed reporters that their decision to support the re-election of the Liberian Leader was based on the huge developmental initiatives currently taking place in the County.
They claimed that they have been voting for Leaders but President Weah has surpassed other past Leaders when it comes to developments.
Speaking during the groundbreaking ceremony in Yao Tiaplay Town, Joe Luanupea Larngai who read the statement from the Chiefs and elders noted that the re-conditioning of various roads in the District has helped to address some of the challenges residents have faced with.
The Chiefs and elders mentioned that the government of Liberia keeps making immense progress toward the socioeconomic advancement of the county and Liberia at large.
“We will not be ungrateful to President George Weah’s Government. He has brought relief to us, through the re-conditioning of various roads. He helped to educate our children”, they noted.
