NaFAA’s Boss Tours Coastal Counties

MONROVIA-The Director-General of the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority, (NaFAA) Madam Emma Metieh Glassco is leading a high-powered delegation of the entity to tour the coastal Counties in Liberia.

The Coastal Counties include Maryland, Grand Kru, Sinoe, and River Cess.

The essence of the tour is to provide authorities the opportunity to interact and identify some of the challenges the sector is faced with.

Madam Glassco and Team are also expected to hold face-to-face conversations with different fisheries’ cooperatives.

The delegation will also inspect land acquired by NaFAA, through the Liberia Sustainable Management of Fisheries Project for the construction of fisheries landing sites for artisanal fishermen in Maryland, Sinoe, and Grand Kru Counties.

The tour .begins on April 30 and ends on May 9, 2023.
