NAFAA TO PROVIDE SPEED BOATS TO FISHERMEN

MONROVIA-The Director-General of the National Fishery and Aquaculture Authority, (NaFAA) Madam Emma Glassco has announced the provision of speed boats to fishermen across the country.

Madam Glassco made these remarks recently in the Township of West Point when the Government of Liberia launched its National Outreach Program.

She mentioned that NaFAA has embarked on the transformation of the fishery sector.

The NaFAA Boss indicated that her entity has created a National Fishermen Corporation Team in Liberia to supervise the management of these boats.

She urged fishermen and women of West Point Township to appreciate the Administration of  Weah for the support to the fishery sector of Liberia.

She pointed out that the speed boats will be launched in May of this year to help fishermen and women in Liberia.
