Liberia News: Tweah Seeks Forgiveness

…Calls for Unity

Liberia-Former Finance Minister Samuel D. Tweah has pleaded for forgiveness from those he may have hurt and extended his own forgiveness to others.

In a heartfelt message on Thanksgiving Day, former Minister Tweah pleaded for forgiveness saying, “I forgive those who have hurt me and plea the forgiveness of those I have hurt.” Toweah wrote urging unity and peace across all areas of life, including politics, family, and business.

The former Minister’s message comes as he faces allegations of economic sabotage, criminal conspiracy, and misappropriation of public funds in Criminal Court C. The case has drawn national attention, with prosecutors accusing the former minister of misusing government resources. While the trial is ongoing, Tweah has maintained his innocence, framing his actions as serving the best interests of Liberia.
