Monrovia-The National Chairman of the National Patriotic Party (NPP) Atty. George Mulbah has urged the Unity Party Led Government of President Joseph Boakai to initiate dialogue to reduce the ongoing political tension in the country.
The Former Bong County Representative said the current tension in the country requires the government to urgently initiate a Dialogue with political leaders to find common ground on reducing tension as a means of reconciling the country after political tension elections that brought the ruling Unity Party to govern the country.
The NPP National Chairman was Speaking to a cross-section of young people on February 20, where he honored the invitation to speak at a Round Table Dialogue that brought together student leaders from various universities and political party youth leaders at DEN -L compound in Gbarnga City Bong County.
According to him, when asked about the issue of the war on corruption, Atty. Mulbah indicated that the war on corruption must not be targeted but holistic stressing that it will be in the interest of the country if holistically attacked by the Government of President Boakai.
The program according to Atty. Mulbah allows him to share his views on the country’s current political situation at the Capitol Building with the young leaders of universities and political parties that were organized by NAYMOTE.
The former ruling National Patriotic Party National Chairman told the young people that the burning of the Capitol Building if the government fails to hold accountable those who bear the greatest responsibility or exercised command and control of the perpetrators, will set a dangerous precedent that may lead to the burning of the Executive Mansion in the future.
Recently the Liberian National Police invited two Congress for Democratic Change Representatives Abu Kamara of Montserrado County District #15 and Dixon Seboe of District #16 as persons of interest into the building of the Capital Building.
