Liberia-The initiative benefited students from various institutions, including the Smythe Road School System and Early Child Development Preparatory.
According to the Founder and President of the Jonahsa Foundation, Jonah Barcon, since its inception in 2015, the Foundation has supported over 8,000 underprivileged schoolchildren across Liberia.
In a remark during the launch of their school initiative that benefited the 200 schooling kids, Mr. Barcon expressed gratitude to partners, volunteers, and school administrators for their ongoing support.
He reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to humanitarian efforts and the importance of being a help to those who are in need of help. “By November, with God’s grace, we will officially break ground for the Jonahsa Foundation facility, which will include a school, clinics, a library, and dormitories for both boys and girls near RIA,” Barcon told the joyful students and school administrators who were seen with smiles across their faces.
Students who received the supplies expressed appreciation to the foundation for its support and the focus on personal hygiene. The event was held under the theme, “Your Health is Your Wealth.”
