MONROVIA- Oct 26-Finance minister Samuel Tweah is expected to join other dignitaries on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 to carry out the signing ceremony of the Transmission Service Agreement (TSA) between Liberia and TRANSCO CLSG on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in Abidjan.
A statement from Abidjan said.
“Liberia’s Minister of Finance, Samuel Tweah will grace the high-level event marking the official signing ceremony of the Transmission Service Agreement (TSA) between Liberia and TRANSCO CLSG on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in Abidjan. Minister Tweah will join his colleague, Gesler Murray, Minister of Mines and Energy of Liberia,” the statement from TRANSCO said.
The signing of the TSA seals the deal for Liberia to receive 27mw of power from la Cote d; Ivoire.
The signing will be held at the TRANSCO CLSG headquarters in Abidjan
Mr. Monie Captain, CEO of LEC will sign for Liberia while the General Manager of TRANSCO CLSG, Mohammed Sherif will sign for TRANSCO CLSG, which will transport electricity that is stable and affordable
