Nimbaians Refuse To Be PYJ’s Scapegoats

Sanniqullie, Nimba County – Ahead of the crucial October 10, 2023’s Presidential and Legislative Elections, several local County Authorities of vote-rich Nimba County have openly rejected calls by the self-proclaimed Political godfather of the County, Senator Prince Y. Johnson not to support the reelection bid of President George M. Weah.

Speaking to reporters recently in Sanniqullie, Nimba County during an endorsement ceremony, the local Authorities of Nimba County reaffirmed their commitment to Weah’s Presidency.

The local county authorities include Commissioners from the 19 Administrative Districts, along with Paramount Chiefs, Statutory Superintendents, and the County Authorities.

These officials expressed their gratitude to the Liberian Leader for the massive development seething through the County and Liberia at large.

According to them, in the past, they (Nimbaians) were influenced by Senator Johnson and supported whatever decision he took.

It can be recalled that a few years back Johnson paraded the streets of Nimba County lifting the hands of President Weah.

Speaking to reporters, two former County Inspectors Reginald Mehn, and Thomas Q. Suah, current County Inspector, Mark Gblinwon Superintendent Nelson Korquoi, as well as Amos Gbatu of Bain- Garr Administrative mentioned that they remain unwavering in supporting the Liberian Leader.

Also speaking in Sanniqullie recently, ruling Party Secretary General and Monrovia City Mayor, Jefferson Koijee appreciated  Nimbaians for the huge level of support.  He then pledged the government’s support towards developmental activities in Nimba County.
