MONROVIA-A longtime friend of President George Weah, Bomi County Senator Edwin Snowe has reaffirmed his unstoppable support for the reelection of President George Weah in the October 10 Legislative and Presidential Elections as a Senator.

According to the Bomi County Lawmaker,  he can only deliver the County to President Weah in the upcoming Elections if the Government meets up with the payment of the County  Western Cluster Money.

Speaking on OK FM Tuesday, February 14, 2023, Senator Snowe said the people of Bomi County are dissatisfied because of the inability of the Government to pay their Social Development Fund paid by the Company.

Senator Snowe further disclosed that on many occasions, he contacted Liberia’s Finance Minister Samuel Tweah concerning the plights of citizens but the  Minister has always been providing promises.

Senator Snowe told the media that the Citizens of Bomi County have confronted him about the delay by the Government to make available their money so that they can undertake developmental projects.

“Honorable, you say the President is your friend, you supporting the President, Western Cluster gave our money, since July last year, we can get our money “he indicated.

Senator Snow said the government’s continuous failures to make available the people’s money is causing serious problems for the reelection of President Weah.

“Mr. Tweah will tell you, the money is ready and he cannot pay the money, this is causing problems for the president’s reelection in Bomi and that is why we are going to keep our feet to the fire’’ he said.

Senator Snow further indicated that he is yet to understand the real motive for the Minister of Finance Development and Planning delinquency to make available the county money.

“To come on this air to publicly talk about this money business I have been pushed, people are holding me responsible “Senator Snowe noted.

The Bomi County Lawmaker emphasized that the reason the people of the county are irritated with him is that he informed them that the MOU  that was signed with the company,  that money was there for development, to help with the roads,  ,  school which is the Bomi County Community  College among others.
