Divine Connection Church Donates Assorted Materials To Referral Hospital

Maryland County- a US Based Organization, under the Banner ‘ Divine Connection Church, through the Community Initiative Alliance (CIA) has donated huge consignments of medical supplies which include different kinds of medical equipment and drugs to the James Jenkins Dossen Memorial Hospital (JJ Dossen) in Harper City, Maryland County to ease the burden of the facilities.

The Divine Connection Church is a Christian Ministry Church headed by Rev. Stephen Mle Wilson and Precious Wilson.

The presentation ceremony took place at the Facility’s Palaver Hut on Friday, February 10, 2023 in Harper City, Maryland County Electoral District#1, and it brought together local authorities, community dwellers, the medical directors, county health teams, and the administration, amongst others.

Presenting the assorted materials on behalf of the organization,  Kwende Howe, County’s Coordinator said the initiative was due to a request made by the Management of the Hospital.

She named those materials donated as; Mattresses, Wheelchairs, X-rays, Crutches, electronic beds, chairs, and over 100 cartoons of medical drugs, amongst others.

Receiving the items, Mrs. Julia Natt Doe, Administrator of JJ Dossen Memorial Hospital, expressed her appreciation and lauded the efforts of the Community Initiative Alliance, through which it was able to receive such a huge donation.

Mrs. Doe maintained that the medical equipment and medications donated will enhance health care delivery services in the county.

In response, Mr. Eugene Kromah, who spoke on behalf of the County Health Team appreciated CIA for its kind gesture, noting, the materials will be used for it intended purpose.

For his part, Mr. Ben T. Howard, a resident of Hoffman Station Community in Harper City cautioned the Administrators and Workers of the JJ Dossen Memorial Hospital to use the materials wisely and avoid focusing on specific patients at the facility.

Speaking on behalf of the Local Authorities in the District, Madam Esther Kafai lauded the efforts of  the donors.

The Community Initiative Alliance (CIA) is a Humanitarian and Non-Political Organization established two years ago with the aims and objectives of identifying with people, and institutions through support and sponsorship of the Divine Connection Church, a Christian Ministry headed by Rev. Stephen Mle Wilson, Precious Wilson and others Christian community of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.
