MOH TO HOST Big HEALTH SYMPOSIUM

MONROVIA-The Ministry of Health, (MOH) is expected to organize a global community health symposium for medical practitioners.

Speaking at the Ministry of Information, Cultural and Tourism, (MICAT) regular Thursday Press Briefing, Health Minister Wilhelmina Jallah mentioned that the discourse is intended to highlight the progress medical practitioners have made at their various community levels.

The Minister of Health noted that the Symposium is also expected to commence from 20 – 24 March 2023, and it is scheduled to take place at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf’s  Ministerial Complex in the oldest Congo Town.

Also speaking, the Policy Adviser to the Health Minister, Christian Brooks –Jarrett, mentioned that the Symposium will bring together Health Practitioners, across the world, to discuss health-related matters.

Jarrett noted that the discussion will center around Global’s Community Health approaches and remedies needed to be adapted to improve the health sectors around the world.

The Policy Adviser indicated that about six hundred participants including senior managers from various countries are expected to grace the occasion.
