MONROVIA-Reporters assigned at the Executive Manson are expected to go to elections this year to elect new leadership that will run the affairs of the body for the next three years.
In line with this year’s elections, the leadership of the Executive Manson Press Corps headed by M. Dennise L. Nimpson, Chairperson appointed a six-member Independent Elections Committee to conduct this year’s general elections.
According to the Executive Mansion Press Corps Constitution, Members of this body are mandated to go to elections after three years.
A release signed by EMPC’s Acting Secretary-General and approved by M. Dennise L. Nimpson, Chairperson said, those appointed to the Independent Elections Committee are Mrs. Vivian Nah-Mulbah, Chairperson, Mr. Edward Blamo, Co-chair, Mr. George M. Buway and Secretary-General.
Others are, Mr. Morris Desmond Brown, Member, Mr. Theophilus Williams, Member, and Mr. Mark Mengonfia, Member.
EMPC leadership says it is confident that the appointment of committee members will ensure free, fair, and transparent elections.
The EMPC leadership is calling on all its members to fully participate in the upcoming elections and to ensure that new corps of officers are elected to steer the affairs of the body.
