Mother, Father Killed Son For Financial Gain

MONROVIA-The Liberia National Police says it has arrested and is investigating six suspects in connection to the death of a two-year-old boy identified as Momo Saah, whose body parts, including his right legs, right eye, and private parts were extracted in Zealey Town, Bomi County on January 23, 2023.

Police initial reports revealed that the mutilated parts of the little child were found in the possession of the grandfather of the victim identified as Siaffa Gray. Those arrested are Momo Gray, Siaffa Gray, Cooper Ross, Satta Wonda, Massa Dukuly, mother of the deceased, and Omacy Nyei.

Police preliminary investigation established that the suspects committed said act based on financial gains.

They are presently at the headquarters of the Liberia National Police undergoing a probe.

In a related development, the Liberia National Police has arrested and is investigating three suspects for their alleged involvement in the death of a 21-year-old identified as Christian Somah on January 19, 2023.

Suspects Yakuba Sheriff AKA 42, Layee Kamara, age 16, and Sumaila Keita age 15 of all of Day-Break Mouth-Open in the Barnesville Community were arrested on January 19, 2023, from a garage owned and operated by the alleged suspects on the Gardnerville Estate Road.

Preliminary investigation has established that the deceased victim was allegedly mobbed by an angry crowd which resulted in his demise when Yakuba Sheriff’s garage security guards, Layee Kamara and Sumaila Keita raised alarm thereby referring to the deceased victim as a thief.
