Massaquoi’s Farm, Bong County– Police in Bong County are currently investigating a farmer identify as Kokolu Gbarkolay for allegedly killing his wife identified as Nowai Dennis around Massaquoi’s Farm between electoral District #3 and Electoral District#5 in Bong County.
Victim Nowai Dennis was discovered on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, lying in a pool of blood with deep multiple wounds around her kitchen on their farm in the County.
After the discovery, a 15 – man jury was quickly ordered to observe the lifeless body of the victim, with the findings detailing that suspect Gbarkolay allegedly cuts the neck of victim Nowai Dennis from the back resulting in her untimely death.
The 15- man coroner jury noticed that Nowai Dennis’s neck was deeply cut, a wound on her right hand, head, and her ear with a cutlass.
Therefore, the jury’s concluded that the late Nowai Dennis died as the result of foul play with multiple wounds on her body.
Meanwhile, suspect Kokolu Gbarkolay is currently in Police custody undergoing an investigation in the County.
Suspect Gbarkolay action has instated fear in many women in Massaquoi’s Farm and nearby villages thereby calling on the Ministry of Justice and its partners to fast-track the case in other for justice to be served.
Many Bongese who visited the scene are wondering why will suspect Kokolu Gbarkolay killed his wife for mere jealousy.
