…..Rep. Yekeh Kolubah warns Government, CDC.
MONROVIA-A member of the opposition political party and Montserrado County district number ten Representative, Yekeh Kolubah has warned the Government and the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) that he is ready to respond to any attempt to cheat the Liberian People through the ballot box.
Representative Kolubah alleged that president George Weah is prepared to rig the 2023 general and presidential elections; something that he and the rest of the opposition will not give allow for such an undemocratic act to deny the Liberian people of their decision.
Speaking Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the CPP “We Tiyah Suffering Rally” in Paynesville Rep. Kolubah who said he is defending those within the opposition, warned the government and of the CDC that if they send stones to the opposition, he will send stone back at them.
He further disclosed that if the Government and of the CDC shoot, he will shoot, emphasizing that they will get guns from anywhere.
Representative Kolubah who described the rally as successful said the government did all it could to terrify the People of Liberia not to turn out, but the message went across.
He urged those of the opposition political parties to unite and battle the CDC politically to make president George Weah a one-time president.
According to Representative Kolubah, the ruling party is doing everything to ensure that the opposition is divided so that they can have the opportunity to rig the elections.
He said the rally was not only for those of the CPP but for the Liberian people who are suffering and it was prudent for every member of the opposition to support such a call for the Liberian people.
Representative Kolubah vowed to support the presidency of the Standard Bearer of the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP) Mr. Alexander Cummings in the upcoming general and presidential elections.
