-Police Director, Deputies; Says Criminal Court “C
MONROVIA-Criminal Court ‘C’ is seeking the arrest of Police Inspector General Col. Patrick Sudue and his deputies for contempt of Court.
Col. Sudue and his deputies’ arrest order, according to RCI Judicial Correspondent was triggered by the Police Chief and his deputies’ alleged refusal to surrender some suspects to the Court following a writ of habeas corpus against them.
This amounts to the fifth time the Police Chief and his deputies are disrespecting Judge Roosevelt Willie’s order, therefore they have been ordered arrested.
Prior to Judge Willie’s action, CIlr. Alhaji Swalijo Sesay accused the police chief and his deputies of wrongfully detaining his clients without charges.
Cllr. Sesay has since petitioned Criminal Court ‘A’ for a writ of habeas corpus to have his clients released, as provided by law.
