BONG-As the October 10, 2023’s Presidential and Legislative Elections draw nearer, a group of women in Palala Town, Kpaai District#1 in Bong County under the Banner ‘Galafama Women Association’ have pledged support to the representative bid of Prince K. Koinah in the District.
The Association is a group of women who are hugely involved with daily savings in that part of Bong County in Central Liberia.
Pledging its support to the Electoral District#1 Representative Aspirant, the Secretary-General of the Group, Ms. Florence Paye mentioned that the group’s decision was predicated upon the immense contributions the Aspirant has made towards development in the county.
The Women Group mentioned that Koinah is a leader who seeks the interests of Residents in the District.
The group named the provisions of scholarships, the construction of town halls, and bridges, the construction of farm-to-market roads, and the donation of medical supplies to health facilities in the district as some of the initiatives carried out by the Aspirant.
“It is now time that we support somebody like Koinah who we see as a developer for our district, through socioeconomic and political emancipation”, the group noted. Madam Paye indicated that the group has more than 450 members.
Responding, Koinah thanked the group for the initiatives and pledged to fully work with them.
He also lauded the women for the decision reached to support his political ambition.
