-GN Bank Liberia Clarifies

The Management of GN Bank Liberia limited has clarified that the revocation of the licenses of twenty-three (23) Savings and Loans Companies and Finance House Companies as announced by the Central Bank of Ghana has not in any way affected the operation and services of GN Bank Liberia limited.

The clarification was contained in a press statement released on Friday, August 16, 2019 by the Management of GN Bank Liberia limited.

“The Central Bank of Ghana on 16th August 2019 announced the revocation of the licenses of twenty-three (23) Savings and Loans Companies and Finance House Companies. Included in that list is GN Savings and Loans Company. For the avoidance of doubt, the Management of GN Bank Liberia Limited wishes to assure all our cherished customers that this decision does not affect our operations here in Liberia. It will also not impact GN Bank Liberia Limited in any way. We wish to reiterate the fact that GN Bank remains strong and viable,” the release said.

GN Bank Liberia limited further in its release encouraged the Liberian public that it will continue to introduce innovative products and services to serve her cherished customers and the Liberian people better as long as she exists in the Liberian financial market.

The release said: “We will continue to be in Liberia into the foreseeable future and continue to introduce innovative products and services to serve our cherished customers and the Liberian people better”. TNR
