‘Frustrated, Traumatized’

-NPP Describes ‘Expelled Chairman’

The National Patriotic Party (NPP) has described its expelled Chairman James Biney as ‘frustrated and traumatized’

Addressing a news conference Monday, November 12, 2018 at the party’s headquarters in Congo Town, NPP acting chairman John D. Gray said the expelled chairman Biney is only making the comments he is making because he has been scraped off the chairmanship of the party

“Any analytical mind will conclude that Biney is making his statement with the intent of buying sympathy. We therefore call on the public not to listen to expelled chairman Biney, because he is frustrated and traumatized as a result of being nostalgic of the chairmanship,” acting chairman Gray noted.

Acting chairman Gray asserted that it is a bold face lie and a diversionary tactics on the part of Biney to make the comments he is making against the party’s standard bearer, Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor that she is eyeing the Presidency comes 2023.

Gray stated that if Biney was and is sincere to his conscience, the public and President George Weah about the meeting between him (Biney) and the vice President, why he did not come up long since, but waited to be expelled first.

“It is ludicrous, diversionary and bold face lie to have heard Biney over Prime FM and other media outlets telling the public that vice President Taylor met with him and expressed her desire to contest the presidency in 2023,” acting Chairman Gray said.

He further said “if Biney claims to be sincere to President Weah and the listening public why didn’t he tell the President about meeting he had with Vice President Taylor long ago, but would choose to inform the President and the public now, simply because of his expulsion by the National Executive Committee of the NPP,” Gray wonders.

It can be recalled that following the expulsion of James Biney from the National Patriotic Party (NPP), he took to national radio and made some wild allegations including the Vice President, Jewel Howard Taylor eyeing the presidency comes 2023.

Biney stated that the vice President told him this in a meeting, but he resisted it, something he attributed to his expulsion from the party, thus, pointing accusing fingers to the Vice President.

Meanwhile, the NPP indicated that it takes very seriously the comments made by Biney that he would deal with Vice President and they are going to take issues with him.
