For constantly being absent in training:

MONROVIA-The Administration of Versatile Vocational Training Center and the Lewis Togba School of Journalism & Media Services has disclosed that in line with its policy of academic excellence, they dropped 18 students from its ongoing training program for act inimical to the training.

According to a release, VVTC Executive Director, Teenecee Togba make the disclosure during the institution circle twelve reopening orientation ceremony recently when he indicated that those students accounted for more Absents.

The Release quoting mgr. Togba indicated that those trainees who have been dropped from the program have missed between two to three weeks of the training classes something that is against the rules of the school.

He said the Versatile Vocational Training Center and the Lewis Togba School of Journalism & Media Services believe in the quality performance of its students with intensive practical and theoretical.

The Executive Director e made it clear that any student missing five training days is dropped out of the program because they do not want to graduate people who will be a serious embarrassment to the nation.

He said the school has tried to encourage the affected students but to no avail stressing that at VVTC 90 percent of their training is practical while 10 percent is theory.

Mr. Togba said this action by the administration will serve as a deterrent to other students who are only interested in the diploma without the proper knowledge.

He said graduates of the school will be ambassadors of the Versatile Vocational Training Center and the Lewis Togba School of Journalism & Media Services with that they will ensure that their students are up to the task in all of their training programs.

Mr. Togba also encouraged the students to take their training seriously emphasizing that the nation is going to depend on them to provide quality services.
