Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor is reportedly under the limelight for her alleged ‘divisive politics’ in Bong County particularly those in the opposition.

According to Selena Polson-Mappy, former Superintendent of the county, the former Senator’s action is said to be causing confusion among citizens in that part of the country.

Speaking on Truth FM Wednesday, former Superintendent Polson-Mappy alleged that Bong County is running into serious crisis as a result of Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor ‘divisive politics’.

She alleged that since the statements by VP Taylor, many persons including chiefs have been dismissed from their jobs saying “we cannot allow our people go out of job because she wants everybody to be member of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC).

It can be recalled Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor during a recent induction ceremony of chiefs held in the county mentioned that they cannot give their birth rights to be in opposition, noting that “now is my time and you cannot do anything therefore you either choose to join the coalition or leave”.

Her statement,  Madam Mappy saidshows thatTaylor is not a unifier and reconciler and as such; he action undermines the message of change preached by the Coalition for Democratic Change.

She further disclosed that the action by the Vice President had led the county into total confusion.

“Vice president Taylor spoke against one party state and that is what she is currently doing. She is the Vice President of Liberia and not Bong County, therefore she should not melt into the running of the county,” madam Mappy added.

Mappy asserted that Vice President Taylor should watch her back on grounds that she cannot be saying something different while her boss the president is saying another thing.

Accordingly, she accused madam Taylor of interfering with functions that are not her thereby disregarding her focus as second person in command of the country.

Meanwhile; the former Bong County superintendent of Bong County, has warned President George Weah to be careful with the character Jewel Howard-Taylor as she would do everything in her power to bring back the Taylor’s agenda as previously mentioned by her (Howard-Taylor).
