NIMBA-The Political Leader of the Alternative National Congress (ANC), Mr. Alexander B. Cummings has received a huge endorsement from the people of Nimba County.
The endorsement came from Nimbaians from several Towns and Villages in Lao Clan and other parts for the Presidential bid of the CPP political leader over the weekend.
Our Nimba County Correspondent said, while the Alternative National Congress (ANC) Political Leader, Cummings was on his way to Lao Beipa Town, several Towns, including Kpain, Tunudin and Villages on the highway also honored and pledged their support to him as they explained about suffering and bad governance, they have suffered and continue to suffer at the hands of past and current governments.
“Mr. Cummings, our decision to support and endorse you is not for money, cars but, rather your platform which talks about fairness and your fight against corruptions,” the citizens said.
Allison Blagay, Head for Lao Rubbers Farmers and Samuel Dolo Boakai, Head of the Kpain Agricultural Project, including several rural Women Groups in Lao Clan also joined to endorse Cummings as they explained about the suffering they are now enduring.
The citizens called on him to help rescue the country from continue suffering including bad road network in the district coupled with in security across the Country.
For farmers in the area, they complained that latex from their rubber have been rejected by Firestone Liberia which has furthered caused them to be referred to as creditors and debtors among others.
According to our correspondent, Chiefs and Elders in several Towns and Villages on the high way formed part of the endorsement.
Responding to the endorsement, Mr. Cummings boasted of his leadership capability saying, he will enable citizens to enjoy the country compared to the current conditions of Liberians under the administration of President George Weah through empowerment.
He said citizens will benefit from better road network, good education and better salaries.
The ANC’s Political Leader has gone to grace the honoring and Memorial Feast of the late Elder Samuel S.T. Beipa and Mrs. Beatrice Beipa held in Beipa Town, Lao Clan, when the citizenry honored the businessman turned politician.
They also provided special gifts to Mr. Alexander B. Cummings, his Wife Theresa Cummings and Nimba County District number seven (#7) Representative Aspirant, Musa Bility.
Mr. Bility, who is the Chairman of Collaborating Political Party, CPP, thanked the people of Nimba for their honors to him and his political leader.
He said his quest was based on continue demand from Liberians who continue to suffered, poor living conditions coupled with bad road network, health care services, lack of job proper and improved job creation among others are some of the daily complains he receives from Liberians on a daily basis.
He urged Nimbaians to form part of the on- going voter registration exercise which gives citizens the power to votes for their leaders.
Mr Alexander B. Cummings explained that during his administration as President of Liberia, he will help to re-build the country as he called on Nimbaians to support his dream of becoming President of Liberia.
Cummings said when given state power, Liberians will re- gain their status and impact their living conditions by providing, jobs opportunities for Liberians women empowerment better Health Delivery System, youth empowerment and improves the agricultural sector which enables Liberians to stop the importation of food from other country and the fight against corruptions among others.
Mr. Cummings told the people of Nimba that: “This is about time to re- built Liberia, you all need to join us to do such development”.
Also speaking, former Superintendent of Nimba County Fong Zuagele thanked the citizens for their continue support for the ANC’s political leader, Alexander B. Cummings as he pledged to turn over huge votes for the ANC in Nimba.
The ceremony was graced by several Representative Aspirants from the nine Electoral Districts and Representative Larry Younquoi of the District number eight and Chairman for CPP’s Representatives in the lower House among others.
For his part the CPP’s National Chairman Musa Bility urged Nimbaians to continue with their support toward the CPP’s Political Leader Cummings as he disclosed that the citizens need to blame themselves because they give state power to President George Weah.
