Monrovia-December 10, 2025: Amid recent rumors suggesting a reduction in its support to the Sport Steering, Bea Mountain Mining Company (BMMC) has demonstrated its continued commitment to the county’s sporting program through a significant show of goodwill to the County Sports Steering Committee.
Contrary to earlier reports claiming the company had slashed its contribution to US $5,000, BMMC has instead delivered a robust support package, reaffirming its longstanding partnership with the county sports sector.
The company has provided food items and 100 sacks of water, all of which have already been received by the Steering Committee. In addition, BMMC has deposited US $12,000 into the committee’s account—an amount more than double what was rumored—further strengthening preparations for the tournament.
This gesture highlights Bea Mountain’s unwavering dedication to community development and youth empowerment through sports.
While the company did not clarify earlier reports regarding the provision of buses, the substantial support delivered so far reflects BMMC’s continued prioritization of the county’s sporting success.
Local sports stakeholders have welcomed the contribution, describing it as a timely boost and a clear demonstration of the company’s commitment to the people of Cape Mount.
