Bea mountain puts smiles on old folks faces

……Carries out quarterly feeding program

CAPE MOUNT COUNTY-Bea Mountain Mining Company (BMMC) has carried out a massive distribution of food and other assorted items in several clans in Grand Cape Mount county.

The company donated 150 bags of rice, US$75.00, and 30 gallons of Argo oil to each elderly person.

The Community Relations Superintendent Mr. Henry  Vincent told residents in Dablo Clan, Gola Koneh District. “Today is another milestone for all of our affected communities, especially the people of Dablo Clan, Mannah, and Lah.”

He added:  “The company agreed that from the beginning of this year, we agreed that there will be monthly support.  So, today, the company has come to make fulfillment to the people of the Dablo Clan. So, what you see here today, it runs for three months, it runs from May, June, and July. So, immediately as of August, September, and October, we will come with another ration.  It is for all of our elders. Women and men will benefit from  the company.”

Receiving the items, the statutory district superintendent Mr.  Frank Sheriff commended the company for living up to its commitment.

“Fulfilment of commitment is good. When you commit and fulfill. We are one family.”

According to him,  such a gesture from the company was welcoming and shows that   BMMC was concerned about the welfare of the people living in the communities in which they operate.
