Bea Mountain: BMMC, PMC Of Laar Clan Dedicate Two Projects Worth Over US$85,000

LAAR-The Management of Bea Mountain Mining Corporation (BMMC) along with the Project Management Committee (PMC) of Laar Clan on Saturday, December 14, 2024 dedicated and turned over two gigantic projects to citizens of Wealiquah and Keita Communities respectively.
The two projects are; a six-bedroom school building which was constructed in Wealiquah Town and a four-bedroom guest house also built in Keita, Laar Clan, Gola Konneh District, Grand Cape Mount County.
Speaking during the dedicatory ceremony officials of BMMC’s Community Relations and Technical Teams stated that the projects worth over Eight-Five Thousand United States Dollars were implemented through the Clan Development Fund provided by the Company for development purposes.
“The dedication of these projects shows that BMMC is committed to improving the human capacity of citizens within its host communities especially the youths. BMMC is bringing this light to you the citizens because knowledge is power and with this foundation, you will be able to pursue higher education”.
Meanwhile, citizens of the two communities have expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Management of BMMC for undertaking such impactful initiatives in their respective communities.
“Since Wealiquah was founded, this is the first time for us to have a modern school in our community” the youths of Wealiquah through their chairman indicated. With the construction of this school, our children will have access to quality education.
The citizens also lauded the Project Management Committee of Laar Clan and the contractors for ensuring the successful completion of the school and guest house projects.
