Monrovia-November 30, 2025: Yesterday, November 30, 2025, was the birth anniversary of Liberia’s 26th President Joseph Nyuma Boakai which was celebrated by Liberians mostly government officials in Tubmanburg, Bomi County.
The celebration brought together hundreds of Liberians including family members, well-wishers as well as Liberian Government officials who presented gifts, birthday cards and others to the Liberian leader on his 81st birthday.
During the celebration, the United States Embassy extended warm wishes to President Boakai on his 81st birthday and wished him good health and continued success in his service to the Liberian people.
A release from the United States Embassy in Monrovia issued Sunday November 30, 2025, noted that, “The United States remains a steadfast partner as Liberia continues its work to strengthen democratic governance, expand economic opportunity, and advance peace and stability. Happy Birthday, Mr. President.”
Meanwhile, several Liberians celebrated President Joseph Boakai’s Leadership and his legacy as he clocks 81. In Tubmanburg, Bomi County Liberians extended happy 81st birthday to His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai and wished him well as he stairs the affairs of the state.
“Today, we celebrate a leader whose life embodies decades of service, dedication, and unwavering commitment to national progress,” they said.
President Joseph Nyuma Boakai celebrates his 81st birthday anniversary today
Born on November 30, 1944, in Worsonga, Lofa County, President Boakai has long been a champion for the welfare of the Liberian people. Since taking office in January 2024, his leadership has ushered in renewed hope for the nation.
His administration has launched the EXCEL education initiative to enhance learning in public schools, suspended rice import tariffs to alleviate economic pressures, and secured Liberia a seat on the United Nations Security Council for the 2026–2027 term-an important step in elevating the nation’s global presence.
In addition to his governance, President Boakai continues his humanitarian efforts through the Joseph Nyuma Boakai Foundation, supporting education, healthcare, and community empowerment.
As Liberia moves forward under his guidance, Liberians honor a statesman defined by integrity, compassion, and dedicated service.
