MONROVIA-DECEMBER 2, 2025: Presidential Press Secretary, Atty. Kula B.N. Fofana has praised the Helping Hands Humanity International (HHHI) for its services to the state and society.

Delivering the Keynote address recently at the official launch and fundraising dinner of Helping Hands Humanity International (HHHI), Atty. Fofana lauded the organization for its numerous humanitarian services to the Liberian people mostly the most vulnerable population.

In her statement she noted, “Let me begin by expressing my deep appreciation to Madam Valerie Forko, Coordinator for Liberia, and Madam Evelyn Sorbor, Chief Executive Officer, and my Brother Mr. Sowani Bility for this gracious invitation. Tonight, we gather not just for a program, but for a purpose. We gather because at the heart of every society lies one truth: our humanity is measured by how we treat the most vulnerable among us.”

The Presidential Press Secretary noted that HHHI has been living this truth, not in words, but in action adding, “For the past four years, this organization has carried the burden of compassion on its shoulders, traveling into communities where hope is sometimes thin but desperately needed. Through health workshops, fire safety awareness, CPR and first aid training, and powerful advocacy on breast cancer and preventive health, you have brought life-saving information directly to the people who need it most.”

Madam Fofana furthered, “You have walked into hospitals not just to observe suffering, but to ease it. You have identified patients battling cancer, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, and other chronic illnesses, not to pity them, but to stand with them, you have provided food, medical support, and materials that restore dignity and strengthen the human spirit. This is not just service; this is love in action, this is humanity at work,

and this is Liberia at its best.”

“Your theme today, “Building a Healthier and Safer Community for All” reminds us that a healthy nation is not created only by policies, hospitals, or government interventions. It is built by people, by communities, by organizations like HHHI who choose to show up consistently and compassionately,” she added.

Madam Fofana noted, “As I speak on behalf of the Office of the President, allow me to share that the vision of His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. is one that places people at the center of national development. The Government of Liberia recognizes the indispensable role that community-based organizations play in strengthening our health systems, supporting prevention efforts, and delivering hope where it is needed most.”

She said HHHI is a partner in nation-building noting, “Tonight is also a reminder that the work ahead is still great. Our communities continue to face health disparities; preventable conditions continue to claim lives; and too many families struggle in silence because support is limited.”

“This is why we are here to join hands with HHHI so they can continue their mission. Not for applause. Not for recognition, but because every dollar we contribute tonight may represent a life saved tomorrow; A mother kept alive, a child’s suffering reduced and a family restored,” she intimated.

She reminded supporters, partners, and well-wishers that their presence is an investment in humanity encouraging them to give generously not out of abundance, but out of conviction because what HHHI is building is not just a program but a lifeline. “Let us help extend it, let us strengthen it,” she added.

“Let us ensure that the hands of this organization remain steady, capable, and compassionate as they continue to serve our people. To the leadership and volunteers of HHHI: Thank you. Your commitment reminds us that the soul of Liberia is strong, strong enough to care, strong enough to lift, and strong enough to heal,” the Press Secretary to the President noted.
