35 legislations pending….Says president Weah

MONROVIA-President George Weah has called on the legislature to help pass 35 legislation pending.

He made the statement on Monday in his 5th  State of the Nation Address to the nation.

“There are 35 pending legislations. Eight of them came from 2020,” he said.

He however said, 23 legislation was passed by the legislature. He added that with all that, Liberia remains stable and peaceful. The state of our economy is stable and is growing. The state is peaceful and strong he said.

“Let me assure you that as president of Liberia and working with you, I will do all within my power for our state to remain stable strong, and stable. Together we can and, we can succeed,” he said.

He also said that there are no political prisoners. That his government has done its best to respect the rights of citizens.

We and our partners, are committed to fighting any bad road.”
